Beyond the Flare Podcast
A chronic illness podcast made for working professionals who are done being told to just listen to their body.
A Chronic Illness Podcast for Life, Work and Everything In Between
Living with chronic illness can affect how you work, rest, plan, connect with others, and think about your future.
You might look fine on the outside while managing fatigue, pain, brain fog, unpredictable symptoms, or a flare-up nobody else can see.
Beyond the Flare is a chronic illness podcast for professionals navigating those realities while still wanting meaningful careers and fulfilling lives.
Each episode explores practical, science-backed strategies and mindset shifts for managing your energy, navigating work with chronic illness, supporting your nervous system, and defining success in ways that honour both your health and your ambition.
About Your Host
Sue is a certified wellness coach, certified Autoimmune Holistic Nutrition Specialist, and founder of Supportegy Wellness Coaching. After navigating chronic illness in her twenties and finding that the support she needed did not exist, Sue created Supportegy to help others find a more sustainable way forward.
Her approach draws on neuroscience, behaviour change, mind-body medicine, and lived experience. Through Beyond the Flare, Sue explores what it means to work with your body instead of constantly pushing through it.
